How to Use Desmos Computation Layer for Reveal Answer

This was the first “coding” I used in Desmos and it has since led me to a world of possibilities! Reveal answer unfortunately doesn’t provide you with feedback through the teacher dashboard but allows students to assess their own knowledge through the answer provided. How I Use Desmos With My Students

When I first started using Desmos earlier this year in virtual learning, I used it just for warm ups. I’d create a set with two questions, send the link to students and jumped into our activities for the day. Slowly I realized that my two question Desmos set could be expanded to a whole lesson.Read More

I don’t believe it but sometimes it’s just what I need to hear after a long day 🥰 Today, as the Sunday Scaries start settling in post spring break.. I’m sending this message out to everyone who needs to hear it including myself... YOU ARE THE WORLD’S BEST! 💕 #teachersofinstagram #iteachtoo
We’re homeowners 🏡! I’ve been pretty quiet We’re homeowners 🏡! I’ve been pretty quiet this week on the gram because Fred and I decided to officially call Southern California our home! We purchased our first house and have been busy moving and settling into our new place. We are so excited to have more space for Kobe and Chloe to grow in. They are still learning to navigate the stairs <swipe to watch> but are adjusting quick! If you’re ever in the area come visit! 🤗💕 #teachersofinstagram
#ad My time as a virtual teacher is coming to a cl #ad My time as a virtual teacher is coming to a close and it doesn’t feel right to end it without a HUGE shoutout to the distance learning MVP… my @autonomousdotai standing desk! I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time at my desk this year. It’s been the space where I’ve built a virtual community with my students and taught concepts like graphing and solving equations. I loved being able to stand and stretch during class on days I felt exhausted but still had two classes to go. If you’re looking for a standing desk, click the link in my bio and use code MATHYI08 at checkout for 8% off. #worksmarter #autonomoussetup #workfromhome

On a side note, I am thankful for past me who hustled hard and prepped for current me. Earlier this year I taught ratios to one of my classes and I was able to reuse my presentation today for notes and practice! Swipe to see what it looks like!

What is your school schedule currently like? Are you still virtual or have you been in person? Let me know!
